Examined Life

Welcome!

Hey there,

Welcome to my blog. I hope you noticed the title: Examined Life. I called it that because Socrates said that "The unexamined life is not worth living." I intend to use this blog for things that are fairly important, things that will make somewhat of a difference in who I am or why I do what I do. I hope that as you read through, you are challenged in one of two ways. First, that you are challenged to think the same thoughts that I did at the moment I wrote them. It's always good for us to get out of our bubble and explore what other people think and feel because it expands our horizons. Second, I hope that you are challenged in your value of life in general. Precious metals are considered valuable due to the fact that they are not abundant. Similarly, life is not as long as it might seem, maybe a hundred years at the most, which will fly by. So I try to live my life intentionally. I have a purpose in life that I am working toward (which you will discover as you read various posts in this blog).

Enjoy,
Ben

  • So Ben,
what exactly is that purpose? I'm anxious so start writing more. Dude, you are an interesting man. What gets you excited? What makes you tick? I appreciate your thoughtful life as we work together. I tend to think a lot as well, although it may not seem that way, there are lots of thoughts. Dude, you like Socrates? Anyway, talk to you later. I'm going to pay attention to Stephen now. Peace.
